There is often a sense of solitude even in the most colorful paintings. Fluid art helps your mind to just go with the flow.
This type of art can be defined as any form of art that uses free flowing fluid paint. It is also referred to as the ‘accidental painting’ as it mainly consists of pouring colors on a canvas and then creating a painting from this technique
I personally think that fluid art consists of a lot of work as I had to apply a few principles in creating each pour and I couldn’t predict the final result till the fluids were dry. Maybe this is based on fluid dynamics!
To understand how fluid dynamics work, it is important to know that all paints have density (weight of pigment). While I was working on my painting I understood that the colors with a heavier density (purple) will sink on the bottom while the colors that are less dense will float on the top (white). To create an art piece, it is important to know the sequence of colors used so that layering and pouring can be made easy.
